Privacy Policy
How Moshpit Studio handles personal information.
Maintained by Moshpit XR, LLC
1. Who this Policy covers
This Policy covers Moshpit Studio, including its editor, Scene hosting and viewing, gallery, accounts, billing, embeds, integrations, APIs, multiplayer, and support. Other Moshpit products may have their own privacy notices.
Moshpit XR, LLC is responsible for personal information used to run Studio. If a business customer sends us information about people using its product, Moshpit handles that information on the customer's instructions.
When another organization provides Studio
If you use Studio through another organization's website or app, read its privacy notice too. That organization may collect or use information for its own purposes.
2. Information we collect
Information comes from you, your browser or device, business customers whose products use Studio, companies we hire to run Studio, and reports from other users.
- Account information, such as your name, username, email address, profile image, preferences, and sign-in history.
- Plan and payment information, such as your plan, invoices, payment status, usage charges, and purchase history. Moshpit does not receive your full card number.
- The Scenes and files you upload, along with titles, descriptions, thumbnails, comments, reactions, reports, Remix credit, and sharing settings.
- Basic profile information that a business customer sends to provide an embedded Studio experience.
- Usage information, such as pages and features used, Scenes viewed, browser and device type, and errors. When we investigate a problem, we may review activity in Studio. We mask text and form entries.
- Messages and files you send to support, including screenshots or logs you choose to attach.
- Multiplayer information shown to people in the same room, such as your name, avatar, location in a Scene, presence, and voice activity.
3. How we use information
- Provide, edit, publish, stream, embed, export, and support Scenes.
- Run accounts, plans, payments, usage limits, integrations, and multiplayer.
- Operate the gallery, preserve Remix credit, review reports, and enforce our rules.
- Fix errors, measure performance, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect Studio.
- Answer requests, send important notices, meet legal duties, and handle legal claims.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we use information to perform our contract with you, comply with law, protect our legitimate interests in running Studio, or act with your consent.
5. How long we keep information
- Individual viewer records are kept for up to 90 days. Daily Scene usage totals are kept for up to 400 days.
- Security and abuse records are kept for up to two years after a case closes.
- Legal acceptance, billing, and tax records are kept for seven years after account closure or the related transaction.
- Backups may keep deleted information for up to 90 days.
- We do not intentionally keep live multiplayer state or voice audio after a session.
We keep Scenes and account content until you delete them, delete your account, or reach a limit tied to your plan. A Remix is an independent copy and may remain after the original Scene or account is deleted. A legal hold may require us to keep some records longer.
6. How we protect information
We use access controls, encrypted connections, monitoring, and internal security practices. No online service can promise perfect security. Keep your credentials private and contact us if you think someone has compromised your account or integration.
7. Your rights and account deletion
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may also object to some uses, withdraw consent, appeal a denied request, or complain to a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Deleting your Studio account immediately ends your access and cancels any active Studio subscription. It starts deletion of your Scenes, uploaded files, integrations, community activity, and public profile. We keep your email and a limited account record for legal and account administration needs. Other records and backups remain only for the periods listed above.
Deleting Studio does not delete your shared Moshpit identity account or information held by another Moshpit product.
8. Children and changes to this Policy
If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Studio only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect a child's personal information without any notice or consent required by law.
We may update this Policy when Studio or the law changes. We will post the new version and effective date. For a material change, we will give additional notice and ask for consent when required.
